All Cosmetology, Esthetician, Nail Technician, and Instructor licenses expire on March 10th of each odd year. Any person licensed by the South Carolina board as a Cosmetologist, Nail Technician, and Esthetician must show satisfactory evidence of four (4) contact hours of instruction (Continuing Education) during the preceding licensing period. These four (4) contact hours can be achieved by completing four (4) hours of Continuing Education training either on-line or onsite training in a traditional classroom setting. Student’s users may satisfy contact hours of instruction.

YOU HAVE 30-DAYS TO COMPLETE ALL PORTIONS OF YOUR ON-LINE COURSE BEFORE IT WILL EXPIRE!

Hours will be submitted to the University of South Carolina (USC). The University of South Carolina (USC) has five (5) business days to review, and approve the submission. Once approved, you will then be mailed a certificate. USC will submit your completion status to the South Carolina LLR State Board.
